Opening Day
1600 USS Grant Hospitality Room opens. 2013 Grant Reunion begins.
2000-2330 MidRats for arriving shipmates and guests.
2400 (About) Hospitality Room closes.
Day Two
0800 Hospitality Room opens. Complimentary Sheraton breakfast.
1000 Hotel shuttle departs for downtown Charleston Market.
(Shuttle will run about every two hours. Last returning shuttle @ 1530.)
1000 Bus departs for Naval Weapons Station to see Sam Rayburn and
Daniel Webster (old SSBN635 and SSBN626) followed by Navy
Exchange (NEX) visit and lunch at NEX sites.
1030 Begin first “Pirate Tour” at Charleston Powder House.
1145 (About) “Pirate Tour” complimentary lunch.
1830-2000 USS Grant Pizza Party in Grant Hospitality Room.
2300 MidRats.
2400 (About) Hospitality Room closes.
Day Three
0800 Hospitality Room opens. Complimentary Sheraton breakfast.
1000 Hotel shuttle departs for downtown Charleston Market.
1000 Bus departs for CSA Hunley Museum.
1030 Begin second “Pirate Tour” at Charleston Powder House.
1145 (About) “Pirate Tour” complimentary lunch.
1830-2000 USS Grant Cook-Out (Hot dogs/brats and/or burgers.).
2000 (About) USS U. S. Grant Alumni Association Board Meeting
2300 MidRats.
2400 (About) Hospitality Room closes.
Day Four
0800 Hospitality Room opens. Complimentary Sheraton breakfast.
1000 Hotel shuttle departs for downtown Charleston Market.
Bus departs for “Remembrance” at Lewis & Clark (SSBN644)
memorial and “Patriots’ Point” ships tour.
1130 (About) Lunch at “The Point Bar & Grill” near Patriots’ Point.
1830-2000 2013 USS Grant Reunion Dinner (Casual).
2000 GROUP PHOTOS (all, blue, gold, dept, etc.) followed by:
“Cigars and Brandy Under the Stars” for the USS Grant gents.
“Lady Pirate Tales” for the USS Grant ladies.
2300 MidRats for shipmates arriving for the “At-Sea Reunion” (cruise).
2400 (About) Hospitality Room closes.
Final Day
0800 Hospitality Room opens. Complimentary Sheraton breakfast.
1000 Hotel shuttles to airport and cruise ship begin.
1300 Hospitality room closes. 2013 USS Grant Land-Based Reunion ends.
